Named the “working mama guru” by Working Mother Magazine, her thought leadership on issues related to working parenthood has been featured in publications including Forbes, The Washington Post, New York Times Parenting, and The Huffington Post.
Lori authored a book called Back to Work After Baby: How to Plan and Navigate a Mindful Return from Maternity Leave and is the creator of Mindful Return, which has helped many women confidently prepare for and navigate returning to work after baby. She is also the co-host of a podcast, Parents at Work, a healthcare lawyer, and the mom to two red-headed boys. Today we talk about how helping parents integrate back into work, how parental leave should be gender neutral and how being a parent can make you a fantastic leader.
